Welcome To Wild Play
Join us on a journey of fun and discovery where children can just be children! Experience the wonderful woodland environment where your child’s love for the great outdoors will be nurtured, along with their self-worth and self-esteem. Learning outside engages and excites children in the most spectacular ways, allowing their imaginations to run WILD!
With many years teaching experience, we host weekly Muddy Hogs groups for pre-school children aged 2-5 years, Explorers holiday clubs for children aged 5-11 years and special birthday party and family events too. We provide bespoke Outdoor Learning and Forest School experiences to schools, which can be delivered within their own grounds or at our woodland site.
The Wild Play philosophy is simple: to help your children Wonder, Investigate, Learn and Discover the great outdoors; developing their social, communication, physical and developmental skills with other little foresters, along with their awareness of the natural environment in the process!
The Wild Play Experience
The Wild Play ethos is all about fun, enjoyment and being outside! We focus on the process of learning rather than the outcome. Experiences may be linked to a specific theme or based on the interests of your young explorers. Ultimately, we provide an environment where your children will feel comfortable to join in, whilst helping them to absorb the vast source of smells, textures and sounds of the great outdoors, from high up to low down, very big to very small.
We steer away from time pressures where possible, giving your children the chance to explore and feed their imagination at their own pace.
We are trained to provide the best in Forest School and Outdoor Learning, encouraging your little forester or young explorer to develop an inquisitive and positive relationship with the wider world as part of the Wild Play community.
